Mediterranean Breakfast Pork Chops with Fig Compote

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Bone-In Pork Chops
  • 8 pieces Figs
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions:

  1. 1. Rinse the pork chops and dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear until browned on each side and fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add the figs, honey, and red wine vinegar. Stir to combine and cook until the figs are slightly caramelized.
  4. 4. Spoon the fig compote over the pork chops.
