Margherita Flatbread Pizza Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces pre-baked flatbread or naan
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 pieces ripe tomatoes
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. OGently brush each flatbread with olive oil, making sure to cover the edges to prevent them from burning.
  3. Peel and finely chop the garlic, then spread it evenly over the flatbreads.
  4. Slice the tomatoes thinly, then arrange on top of the flatbread, followed by the shredded mozzarella.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and slightly golden. Watch it closely to prevent burning!
  6. After removing from the oven, tear the basil leaves and scatter them over the top of each pizza. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  7. Cut each flatbread pizza into quarters and serve immediately. Enjoy!
