
Lean Midnight Turkey Burger

Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb Ground turkey
- 2 pieces Whole wheat buns
- 2 leaves Lettuce
- 1 medium Tomato
- 1 small Onion
- 1 tbsp Light mayonnaise
- 1 slice Low-fat cheese
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- To taste Salt
- To taste Pepper
Instructions:
- 1. Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper.
- 2. Form the seasoned turkey into two patties.
- 3. Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and add olive oil.
- 4. Cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- 5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the buns. Spread a thin layer of light mayonnaise on each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun.
- 6. Slice the tomato and onion. Place a slice of tomato and a slice of onion on top of the lettuce.
- 7. Once the patties are cooked, place them on top of the onion and tomato. Place a cheese slice on top of each patty.
- 8. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve
