Late Night Japanese Quick Fish Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 Pieces Fish Filet (Such as Salmon)
  • 2 Cups Cooked Rice
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Mirin
  • 2 Stalks Green Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil

Instructions:

  1. First, heat a skillet with the cooking oil over medium heat.
  2. Place the fish filets skin side down in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce and mirin.
  4. Slice the green onions and set aside.
  5. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it on a bed of cooked rice.
  6. Drizzle the soy sauce and mirin mixture over the fish and rice.
  7. Finally, top with the sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds and serve.
