Kung Pao Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Shrimp
  • 6 Dried red chili
  • 1/2 cup Roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 slice Ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the shrimp with half of the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and cornstarch. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat up a wok or skillet with cooking oil. Stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and dried red chili until aromatic.
  3. Add in the shrimp and stir-fry until they change color. Add the remaining soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and peanuts.
  4. Mix well and adjust taste with salt, if needed.
  5. Serve hot with rice.
