Juicy Grilled Beef Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80% lean)
  • 4 pieces Hamburger Buns
  • 4 leaves Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 small Onion
  • 4 slices American Cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • as needed Mayonnaise
  • as needed Mustard
  • as needed Pickles

Instructions:

  1. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 equal-sized patties.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
  4. Add a slice of cheese to each patty in the last minute of grilling, closing the grill lid to allow the cheese to melt.
  5. Allow the patties to rest for a few minutes after removing them from the grill.
  6. While the patties are resting, grill the hamburger buns cut-side-down for about 1 minute, or until lightly toasted.
  7. Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom bun, then layering the lettuce, tomato, pickles, and grilled patty.
  8. Finish off with the top bun and serve immediately.
