Total Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ground Beef (80% lean)
- 4 pieces Hamburger Buns
- 4 leaves Romaine Lettuce
- 1 medium Tomato
- 1 small Onion
- 4 slices American Cheese
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- as needed Mayonnaise

Instructions:
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- Add a slice of cheese to each patty in the last minute of grilling, closing the grill lid to allow the cheese to melt.
- Allow the patties to rest for a few minutes after removing them from the grill.
- While the patties are resting, grill the hamburger buns cut-side-down for about 1 minute, or until lightly toasted.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom bun, then layering the lettuce, tomato, pickles, and grilled patty.
- Finish off with the top bun and serve immediately.
