
Japanese Tonkatsu (Breaded Pork Cutlet)

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces boneless pork loin chops
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 2 pieces eggs
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
- enough for frying Vegetable Oil
- as needed Tonkatsu sauce
- as needed steamed rice
- as needed steamed vegetables
Instructions:
- Start by seasoning the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Coat each pork chop in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat in the Panko bread crumbs.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the pork chops until golden brown on both sides - about 4 to 5 minutes each side.
- Allow the pork chops to drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the Tonkatsu with steamed rice and vegetables, drizzled with Tonkatsy sauce.
