
Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Donburi for Breakfast

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Boneless chicken thighs
- 2 cups Japanese rice
- 1 cup Teriyaki sauce
- 2 stalks Spring onions
- 4 large Eggs
- 1 sheet Nori (seaweed)
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Cook the Japanese rice according to the package instructions.
- While the rice is cooking, cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pan, cook the chicken pieces until they are no longer pink.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce into the pan and stir until the chicken is well coated.
- Continue to cook the chicken in the sauce until the sauce has thickened.
- In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your preference. For an authentic Japanese experience, try making them sunny side up or slightly runny.
- Once everything is cooked, assemble the donburi by placing rice at the bottom of a bowl, followed by the teriyaki chicken and a fried egg on top.
- Garnish the donburi with chopped spring onions, torn nori, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
