Japanese Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger
  • 4 stalks Spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar.
  2. 2. Grate the garlic and ginger into the sauce mixture and stir well to combine.
  3. 3. Add the chicken to the sauce and let marinade for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick frying pan and cook the chicken until browned on both sides.
  5. 5. Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Slice spring onions and sprinkle over the chicken.
  7. 7. Finally, garnish with sesame seeds before serving classic Japanese Teriyaki Chicken.
