Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Mirin
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- To taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and add soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan. Let it sit until half done.
- Start rolling the egg from one side to the other. Once done, place the rolled egg on the edge of the pan.
- Pour another thin layer of egg mixture in the pan, lift the rolled egg to spread the mixture underneath and let it sit until half done. Then start rolling again, adding the new layer to the rolled egg already in the pan.
- Repeat this process until all the egg mixture is gone. Make sure to reduce the heat if it's browning too quickly.
- Once the Tamagoyaki is prepared, cut it into small pieces and serve warm.
