Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound Ground pork
  • 1/2 head Cabbage
  • 50 pieces Gyoza wrappers
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, grated cabbage, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Place a small amount of the pork mixture in the center of each gyoza wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half, and pleat the edges to seal.
  3. In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the gyoza and cook for about 2 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Turn the gyoza over and add 1/2 cup of water to the pan. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, until the water has evaporated and the gyoza are crispy and cooked through.
  5. Serve the gyoza hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
