
Japanese Omurice for Midnight Cravings

Ingredients:
- 4 count Eggs
- 2 cups Cooked rice
- 200 grams Chicken breast
- 1 count Onion, finely chopped
- 0.5 cup Green peas, frozen
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon Ketchup
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until no longer pink.
- Add the onions to the pan and cook until they become transparent. Add the peas and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked rice, and season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of ketchup. Mix well and set aside.
- In a new pan, beat 2 eggs and pour it into the hot pan with butter. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes without stirring, until the edges start to set but the middle is still runny.
- Place half the rice mixture in the middle of the egg. Gently fold the egg over the rice from all sides to form an omelette.
- Slide the omurice onto a plate, and top with the remaining ketchup. Repeat the process with the remaining eggs and rice.
- If desired, garnish with parsley before serving.
