
Japanese Fruit Curry Rice

Ingredients:
- 1 whole Apple
- 1 whole Pear
- 1 whole Onion
- 1 whole Carrot
- 100 grams Japanese Curry Roux
- 2 cups Rice
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 4 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Instructions:
- Peel and dice the apple and pear, make sure to remove the seeds.
- Slice the onion and carrot.
- In a large pan, heat oil and add onions until translucent.
- Add the diced fruits and carrots. Cook until they are slightly softened.
- Add curry roux and water into the pan. Stir until the curry roux is completely dissolved. Continue to stir occasionally until the curry comes to a boil.
- Once the curry has come to a boil, reduce heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- While the curry is simmering, cook your rice according to the instructions on the package.
- Season the curry with salt, or to taste.
- Divide the cooked rice among four plates, pour some curry over top. Serve while hot.
