Japanese Edamame

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Edamame
  • 1 tablespoon Sea Salt
  • enough to cover Water

Instructions:

  1. Place the edamame in a large pot.
  2. Cover with water and add the sea salt. Stir to mix.
  3. Place the pot on medium-high heat. Bring the water to a boil.
  4. Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to medium and let the edamame simmer for about 5 minutes, or until they are tender.
  5. Drain the edamame and let them cool for a few minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with a bit more sea salt if desired and serve as a healthy, protein-packed snack!
