Japanese Comfort Seafood Rice Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Cooked sushi rice
  • 500 grams Mixed seafood (shrimps, calamari, scallops)
  • 4 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 stalks Spring onions
  • for garnish Seaweed
  • for garnish Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the seafood and cook until it's thoroughly cooked.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Pour this mixture over the cooked seafood. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens a bit.
  3. Chop the spring onions into small pieces.
  4. Divide the cooked sushi rice into 4 bowls. Top each bowl with the cooked seafood and sauce.
  5. Garnish each bowl with chopped spring onions, seaweed, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your comforting Japanese seafood rice bowl for breakfast.
