Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Pork belly strips
  • 2 tablespoons Light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 cup White rice
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the pork belly strips to the pan, cooking until crispy and thoroughly cooked.
  4. Add the soy sauce and mirin to the pan, stirring into the pork.
  5. Allow the sauce to simmer until it has reduced, ensuring the pork is well coated.
  6. Plate the cooked rice, topping with the pork and its sauce.
  7. Chop the green onions and sprinkle over the dish, along with sesame seeds.
