
Japanese Beef Teriyaki

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Beef steak
- 100 milliliters Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Sake
- 2 tablespoons Mirin
- 1 inch, grated Fresh ginger
- 2 minced Garlic clove
- 2 cups Steamed rice
- 2 sliced Scallions
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sake, mirin, ginger, and garlic to prepare the teriyaki sauce.
- Marinate the beef steak in half of the teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan with some oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the beef steak to your desired doneness, then remove from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
- In the same pan, add the remaining teriyaki sauce and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
- Slice the beef steak and pour the thickened teriyaki sauce over it.
- Serve the beef teriyaki over steamed rice and garnish with the sliced scallions.
