Japanese Beef Tataki Bites

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Beef tenderloin
  • 100 ml Soy sauce
  • 50 ml Mirin
  • 1 whole Lemon, juiced
  • 100 grams Daikon radish (grated)
  • 2 whole Spring onions
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated

Instructions:

  1. Freeze the beef for an hour, then slice thinly.
  2. Mix the soy sauce, mirin, lemon juice and ginger together to form a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the beef and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a griddle pan to high heat and sear the beef slices quickly on each side.
  5. Serve the beef on small plates, topped with a sprinkle of spring onion and a side of grated daikon radish.
