Japanese Beef Stir-Fry Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Beef sirloin
  • 0.25 cup Soy Sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 2 pcs Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 3 cups Mixed vegetables (Bell peppers, Carrots, Broccoli)
  • 4 cups Cooked brown rice
  • 0.5 cup Chopped scallions for topping

Instructions:

  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the low-sodium soy sauce, fresh ginger, and minced garlic.
  3. Place the sliced beef into the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook until they are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, add the marinated beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the beef is cooked to your preferred doneness.
  8. Add the cooked vegetables back into the skillet and mix well with the beef.
  9. Serve the stir-fry over cooked brown rice and top with chopped scallions.
