Italian Pork Calzones

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Pizza dough
  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook ground pork until it's browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 6 equal pieces. Fill each piece with equal parts of cooked pork, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and tomato sauce.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal. Place the calzones on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the calzones are golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with extra tomato sauce for dipping.
