Italian Beef Gnocchi

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Beef Mince
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 400 grams Crushed Tomatoes
  • 500 grams Gnocchi
  • A bunch Basil
  • 100 grams Parmesan Cheese
  • To taste Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the beef mince and cook until browned.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan, cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Mix in the tomato paste and crushed tomatoes, stir to combine.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  5. In another pan, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain.
  6. Add the cooked gnocchi to the beef sauce, stir to coat all the gnocchi.
  7. Tear the basil and stir it into the gnocchi mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the beef gnocchi hot, topped with grated parmesan cheese.
