Indian Style Masala Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Pasta
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • 1 cup Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Green peas
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 1 teaspoon Grated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • to taste Salt
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. 1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, and sauté the chopped onions and garlic until they start to brown.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes, green and red bell peppers to the pan, and cook until they are soft and wilting.
  4. 4. Stir in the green peas and sweet corn, and continue to cook for a few minutes.
  5. 5. Mix in the garam masala, red chili powder, and turmeric, and cook until the spices are well-blended into the vegetables.
  6. 6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan, and toss it gently with the vegetables and spices until it is well-coated in the masala.
  7. 7. Season with salt, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
