Indian Style Breakfast Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Pasta
  • 1 large, finely chopped Onion
  • 2 medium, finely chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Green bell pepper
  • 1 grated Carrot
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • for garnish chopped Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions:

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions until it's al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  3. Add the chopped onion to the pan and fry until it becomes translucent.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, green bell pepper, and grated carrot to the pan. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
  5. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the spices and vegetables. Toss well to ensure that the pasta is well coated with the spices.
  7. Cook for a few more minutes until the pasta is heated through.
  8. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
