Indian Style Beef Curry

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Beef Stew Meat
- 1 whole Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic Cloves
- 1 inch Fresh Ginger
- 2 tablespoons Curry Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 can Can of Crushed Tomatoes
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
- Chop the onion, garlic, and ginger finely.
- Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the curry powder, turmeric, and cumin, stirring well to combine. Cook for a minute until the spices become fragrant.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Stir well, scraping any bits from the bottom of the pot.
- Return the beef to the pot. Bring the mixture to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
