Indian Spicy Fish Curry

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Fish fillets
  • 1 large Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoon Grated ginger
  • 2 large Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tablespoon tablespoon Oil
  • a handful Fresh coriander leaves
  • as needed Water

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add in the garlic and ginger, and fry for another minute.
  3. Add tomatoes, salt, and all the spices. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  4. Add fish fillets to the pan, and gently stir to coat the fish in the masala.
  5. Pour in enough water to barely cover the fish. Cover the pan and simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
  7. Serve your Spicy Indian Fish Curry with steamed rice for a hearty breakfast.
