Indian Spiced Pork Roast

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Pork roast
  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 2 Teaspoons Ground cumin
  • 2 Teaspoons Ground coriander
  • 1 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
  • To taste Salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the garlic, ginger, ground spices, lemon juice and salt.
  3. Blend until you have a smooth paste.
  4. Spread the paste all over the pork roast, making sure that it is well covered.
  5. Place the pork in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast for about 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 63 degrees celsius.
  7. Let the pork rest for a few minutes before carving and serving.
