Indian Spiced Grilled Fish

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Fish fillets
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • a handful Fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 pieces Lemon wedges

Instructions:

  1. Clean and pat dry the fish fillets.
  2. In a bowl, add lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a paste.
  3. Rub this spice paste evenly over the fish fillets. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the marinated fish fillets in the pan and grill each side for about 5-7 minutes or until it's cooked through and the outside is crispy. Be gentle while flipping the fish to prevent it from breaking.
  6. Garnish the grilled fish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve it hot with lemon wedges on the side.
