Indian Spiced Fish Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Fish fillets
  • 4 pieces Taco shells
  • 1 Medium onion
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • half Lemon
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions:

  1. Chop the onion and garlic finely.
  2. Mix the turmeric, cumin, coriander, and chili powder in a small bowl.
  3. Lightly coat the fish with the mixed spices, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the fish until it's done. Squeeze the lemon juice on top of the fish during the last minute of cooking.
  5. In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until they become translucent.
  6. To assemble the tacos, place the fish on a taco shell, top with the sautéed onion and garlic, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  7. Repeat the process for the remaining tacos.
  8. Serve immediately while hot.
