Indian Pork Curry for Breakfast

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Pork
  • 2 pieces Onions
  • 4 pieces Garlic Cloves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 2 pieces Tomatoes
  • 2 pieces Green Chilies
  • 10 leaves Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Curry Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Instructions:

  1. Clean and cut the pork into medium size pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves and green chilies.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté till they become golden. Add crushed ginger and garlic and sauté on low flame for 2 mins.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and sauté till they become mushy.
  5. Add turmeric powder, curry powder, and salt. Sauté on low flame for 2 min.
  6. Add pork pieces and coat them well with the masala. Cover and cook on a low flame for about 30 mins or until the pork is done.
  7. Serve your Indian Pork Curry with some warm Indian bread like roti or naan and enjoy your comforting and hearty breakfast.
