Indian Mixed Fruit Curry

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Amchoor powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 cups Mixed fruits (like apples, bananas, grapes, pomegranate)
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 handful Chopped fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add cumin seeds.
  2. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, amchoor powder and salt to the pan. Stir well.
  3. Add the mixed fruits to the pan and mix well so that the spices coat the fruits evenly. Cook on medium heat for about 10-15 mins or until the fruits are soft.
  4. Add sugar and adjust seasoning if needed. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with steamed rice or rotis.
