
Indian Midnight Chicken Curry

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Chicken
- 1 large Onion
- 2 Green chilli
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 1 large Tomato
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 0.5 tsp Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 tbsp Oil
- a handful chopped for garnish Cilantro
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, green chilli, garlic, ginger and fry until onions become translucent.
- Add chopped tomato, salt, and stir for a while until the tomato becomes mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, curry powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala and stir well for a minute.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook on a medium flame for about 15-20 minutes until the chicken becomes tender and all the spices are well incorporated.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with white rice or flatbread.
