Indian Breakfast Chicken Masala

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Boneless chicken
  • 2 whole Onions
  • 2 whole Tomatoes
  • 500 grams Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 piece Green chili
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • a handful Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions:

  1. 1. Chop the onions, tomatoes, garlic, green chili, and ginger into fine pieces.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, ginger, green chili, and garlic. Sauté till the onions turn golden brown.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  4. 4. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they change color.
  5. 5. Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, and red chili powder. Mix well with the chicken.
  6. 6. Add salt to taste and then add the yogurt. Mix well. Let it cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
  7. 7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
