Indian Beef Kebabs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Beef sirloin
  • 1 tablespoon grated Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 4 Skewers

Instructions:

  1. Cut the beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the beef cubes with the ginger, garlic, turmeric, coriander, cayenne, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the beef is well coated.
  3. Let the beef marinate in the fridge for at least 20 minutes, or up to overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the beef cubes onto the skewers.
  6. Grill the kebabs for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  7. Serve the kebabs hot, with a side like naan or rice if desired.
