
Healthy Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 medium Carrots
- 1/2 cup Green peas
- 1 large Onions
- 2 medium Tomatoes
- 2 medium Green chilies
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Biryani masala
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 cups Water
Instructions:
- Wash the rice several times until the water runs clear. Soak it for 30 minutes. In the meantime, cut the vegetables.
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the sliced onions and green chilies. Saute till the onions turn translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, fry for a minute until the raw smell goes away.
- Now, add the sliced tomatoes, carrots, and peas. Cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes, or till the tomatoes become mushy.
- Add in biryani masala and mix it well.
- Now, add the soaked and drained rice to the pan. Stir gently.
- Pour water and adjust salt as per taste. Let the whole blend come to a boil.
- Once the water starts to boil, simmer the flame and cover the pan. Cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked.
- Healthy Vegetable Biryani is ready! Serve it hot and enjoy.
