
Healthy Thai Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:
- 500 grams lean beef steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 whole red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 whole carrot, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas, halved
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 handful fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
- Heat the sesame oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and beef strips, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is nearly cooked.
- Add the sliced red bell pepper, carrot and snap peas to the wok, stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and chili flakes to create the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the stir-fry, tossing everything together to evenly coat, let cook for 2 more minutes.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the fresh chopped basil, then serve the stir-fry over steamed rice or noodles.
