Healthy Japanese Style Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole Pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 whole Scallions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  2. Marinate the pork tenderloin in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove the pork from the marinade, saving the marinade for later, and sear the pork on all sides until browned.
  5. Pour the marinade over the pork, cover the pan, and reduce the heat to low.
  6. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, until the pork is cooked through and the marinade has thickened into a sauce.
  7. Sprinkle sliced scallions and sesame seeds over the top, serving with sides of your choice.
