
Healthy Italian Baked Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup unit Bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup unit Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp unit Dried basil
- 1 tsp unit Dried oregano
- 1 tsp unit Garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups unit Marinara sauce
- 1 cup unit Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp unit Olive oil
- As per taste unit Salt and black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Brush both sides of the chicken breasts with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring both sides are fully coated.
- Place the breaded chicken breast in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and evenly spread the marinara sauce over each piece.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and sauce.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the chicken parmesan with a side of whole-grain pasta or a salad for a complete, healthy dinner.
