
Healthy Indian Style Pasta

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Whole Wheat Pasta
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 large Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic Cloves
- 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
- 1 medium Green Bell Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 2 teaspoons Garam Masala
- 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- handful Chopped Cilantro
- to taste Salt
Instructions:
- Boil the whole wheat pasta until al dente, as per package instructions.
- For the Indian style sauce - Heat a pan and add olive oil. Once hot, saute the onions and garlic until golden brown.
- Add chopped red and green bell peppers to the pan and saute until they soften.
- Add turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook until spices are well combined.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are mushy and sauce-like.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, add salt to taste and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
