
Healthy Indian Spiced Beef Hash

Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 medium medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons cilantro
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds to the oil and toast until fragrant.
- Add onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper to the pan. Break up the meat with your spoon and cook until it is browned.
- Drain any excess grease from the pan. Add the turmeric and garam masala and stir until the meat is well coated.
- Cut the potatoes into small cubes and add them to the pan. Cook until they are tender and have absorbed the flavor from the meat and spices.
- Just before serving, stir in the chopped cilantro. Adjust seasonings if needed.
- Serve hot with Indian bread or rice. Enjoy!
