Healthy Indian Beef Skewers

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 3 tablespoons Plain yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 8 pieces Bamboo skewers for grilling
Instructions:
- Quarter the beef into 1-inch cubes.
- Peel and grate the ginger and garlic.
- In a bowl, combine the yoghurt, garam masala, turmeric, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, garlic, and ginger.
- Season the mixture with salt according to taste.
- Add the beef cubes into the marinade. Ensure all pieces are well coated and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes before the end of the marinating period.
- Preheat your grill or broiler on medium heat.
- Skewer the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill or broil the beef skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- Serve the healthy Indian beef skewers hot with your choice of dip or chutney.
