Healthy French Shrimp Quiche

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Large shrimp
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Low-fat milk
  • 1 whole Whole wheat pie crust
  • 1 cup Grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 cup Chopped spinach
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh dill
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Peel, clean and de-vein the shrimp. Chop them into small bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and milk. Stir in cheese, spinach, dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the chopped shrimp evenly into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the shrimp.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted into the filling comes out clean, about 35-40 minutes.
  6. Let the quiche rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
