
Healthy French Breakfast Rice Bowl

Ingredients:
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 pinch pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
- In a medium-size pot, add your long grain rice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Stir in the almond milk, sweetener of choice and a pinch of sea salt. Cook on low for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve your rice warm in a bowl, topped with your mixed berries, chopped almonds, and chia seeds.
