Grilled Miso Salmon Donburi

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons White miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Grated ginger
  • 4 bowls Steamed rice
  • 2 pieces Spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, and ginger to make a marinade.
  2. 2. Add salmon fillets to the marinade and make sure they are fully coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Preheat your grill or broiler. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. 4. Slice spring onions into thin slices.
  5. 5. To serve, place a portion of steamed rice in a bowl, top with a grilled salmon fillet, and sprinkle with spring onions and sesame seeds.
