Grilled Miso Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 pcs Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons White miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 pcs Spring onions (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced)
  • 1 cloves Garlic (minced)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the marinade by combining the white miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, ginger and garlic in a bowl. Ensure the sugar is well dissolved.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets with the marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight if possible).
  3. Preheat grill on medium heat. Remove the fillets from the marinade and wipe off excess. Place on the grill and cook for about 7-8 minutes per side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Garnish with spring onion and serve with steamed rice on the side for a balanced meal.
