
French Style Poached Fish

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Fish fillets (like Cod or Halibut)
- 1 cup Dry white wine
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1 bunch Fresh parsley
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
Instructions:
- First, prepare your ingredients: Chop the onion and garlic, and set them aside. Slice the lemon, remove seeds and squeeze the juice out.
- In a large pan, combine fish, wine, onion, garlic, and lemon juice. Add enough water to cover the fish. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to low and let it simmer, covered, for about 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
- Season with salt, pepper, and add fresh parsley.
- Serve warm with a side of steamed vegetables or a light salad.
