French Style Beef Hash

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Beef
  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 1 bunch Fresh Parsley

Instructions:

  1. Cut the beef into bite-size cubes.
  2. Peel and dice the potatoes and onion. Mince the garlic.
  3. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the potatoes and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  7. Return the potatoes to the skillet and mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cook the mixture for another 5 minutes, or until everything is heated through.
  9. Garnish with the fresh parsley and serve immediately.
