French Shrimp Crostini

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams Shrimp
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 large Baguette
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
  • from 1 lemon Lemon zest

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celsius.
  2. Peel and devein the shrimp, then cut into small pieces.
  3. Mince the garlic and mix half of it with the shrimp, adding 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Set aside.
  4. Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking tray.
  5. Combine the butter, the rest of the garlic, the parsley, and lemon zest in a bowl. Spread this mixture on the baguette slices.
  6. Bake the baguette slices for 5 minutes, or until they become lightly golden.
  7. Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the shrimp and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until they become pink.
  8. Top each of the toasted baguette slices with shrimp. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to blend together.
  9. Serve warm for a delightful, savory snack.
