
French Egg Tartines

Ingredients:
- 4 rustic bread slices
- 4 eggs
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup grated gruyere cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Instructions:
- 1. Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crunch.
- 2. While the bread is toasting, cook the eggs in a non-stick pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Scramble the eggs or make an omelette according to your preference.
- 3. Rub the warm toasted bread with a garlic clove, then drizzle or brush them with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
- 4. Place the cooked eggs on top of each slice of bread. Spread the grated gruyere cheese over the eggs while they're still hot.
- 5. Sprinkle the chopped parsley on top. Add additional salt and pepper if needed.
- 6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delightful French egg tartines!
