French Egg Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 6 unit Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese
  • 4 stalks Green onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Chop the green onions and mince the garlic.
  3. Heat butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic to pan; cook for 5 minutes or until soft.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and then whisk in the heavy cream. Then, add in the cooked onions and garlic, grated Gruyere cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until it is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
