French Coq au Vin Tagliatelle

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Chicken pieces
- 140 grams Bacon
- 200 grams Button mushrooms
- 10 pieces Shallots
- 500 ml Red wine
- 500 ml Chicken Stock
- 2 sprigs Thyme
- 400 grams Tagliatelle Pasta
- 50 grams Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic Cloves
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
Instructions:
- Heat half the butter in a pot and brown the chicken on all sides, then remove to a plate.
- Add the bacon to the pot and cook until crisp, then add to the plate with the chicken.
- Add the remaining butter to the pot and cook the mushrooms and shallots until golden, then add to the plate with the chicken and bacon.
- Pour the red wine into the pot and scrape the bottom to deglaze, then add the chicken stock, thyme, and garlic and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken, bacon, mushrooms, and shallots to the pot, then season with salt and pepper and simmer covered for 1 hour.
- Cook the tagliatelle in a separate pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions, then drain.
- Serve the coq au vin over the tagliatelle and enjoy.
